Max Doyle shoots Australian model Lydia Willemina for Vogue Australia, titled Best in Show. Lydia wears a stunning collection of iconic and creative pieces from the Fall collections, all expertly picked by stylist Naomi Smith.
Lydia transforms from one image to the next, with the help of super-hair stylist, Kevin Mancuso and make-up artist Linda Jefferyes. Lydia’s changing looks are created with pieces from the likes of Prada, Miu Miu, Kenzo, Lanvin, Balenciaga, Burberry Prorsum, Gucci, Haider Ackerman, Calvin Klein Collection, Rochas and Emilio Pucci.
Lydia is a fresh-faced, charming new model who was discovered earlier this year in Sydney. She brings her natural elegance and charisma to this editorial. This is the first major editorial campaign in Lydia Willemina’s career, and it is a solid starting point from which to launch a long and successful career as a fantastic fashion model.
My favorite image is the Miu Miu shot. I love the styling and the make-up. The photograph is so lively and energetic, Lydia looks glamorous and the fashion is really beautiful. This campaign features some of the biggest and most eye-catching pieces from next season. There is the stunning Gucci floor-length dress, as well as stand-out designs from Lanvin and Louis Vuitton. Titled Best in Show, this editorial really does showcase the best of the best from the Fall collections.
